NYC INVITES creates exclusive social event experiences for its members: chef tastings with up and coming chefs, dinners in new or undiscovered restaurants; wine and liquor tastings of the great brands; cocktail receptions and rooftop brunches in unique locations. +50% of the profits will go towards its partner charity.

Terms & Conditions

By using and/or subscribing to www.nycinvites.com (the "Website") or by participating in any Event, you signify your agreement to be bound by these Terms.

Minimum age to join NYC INVITES and to attend any of its Events is 21 years of age. At each event all attending event guests must carry a legal personal ID.

Membership

There is no cost to subscribe as a User or Member. Memberships are non-transferable.

By subscribing to become a Member it is understood and agreed upon that NYC INVITES has the Members permission to send relevant communication and event invites via email. Members can at any time unsubscribe.

A Member may cancel its Membership at any time by notifying us via the Websites Contact Us form, or by following the link in NYC INVITES email communication.

Members and Guest may attend an Event by completing the Event registration application, and completing all fees and costs for that Event.

NYC INVITES reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to limit the number of Members, or to refuse memberships to any person for any reason, and without comment.

Events, Cancelations, or Curtailment

Event tickets are on a first come first serve basis.

Event fees and ticket prices are determined on an event by event basis. All Event tickets and registrations must be completed and paid for before event begin. Paid ticket(s) do not guarantee admission at the Event.

NYC INVITES reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to limit the number of Members and Guests who many attend any Event, or prevent any Member or Guest from taking part in or continuing to participate in any Event.

NYC INVITES reserve the right, at its absolute discretion, to cancel or to change the date, time, program, or venue of any Event for any reason. NYC INVITES will use commercially reasonable efforts to inform all event gusts who have completed the event registration process of that particular event about any such change as soon as possible. If a potential event attendee has registered, paid or not paid, it shall be their responsibility to inform any person for whom they have registered or purchased tickets for of any change to an Event.

If in the event the Event is canceled before the started entry time, the original purchaser of the Event ticket(s) will be refunded with the amount they paid for the ticket. The maximum refund payable is the ticket(s) face value for the day concerned.

An Event attendee may cancel his/her participation in an registered Event by notifying us, in writing, within 72 hours of the Event via the Websites Contact Us form. After 72 hours no refund will be issued.

Event attendees (including but not limited to Members and Guest) must conduct themselves at all times in a responsible and respectful manner with other attendees, or the general public, or third parties at Events, or all staff working at the Event. NYC INVITES does not assume any responsibility for Event attendees actions, or the actions of any other Member or Guests, or other guests.

Members and Guests at the Events who fail to behave correctly may be expelled, suspended, or prevented from continuing with an Event, and NYC INVITES may terminate his/her membership, or preclude his/her attendance at any or all future Events. Furthermore all Members and Guests acknowledge that venue suppliers, or other Event organizers may also be entitled to refuse admission to an Event, or stop their continued participation in an Event.

Participation in an Event is at the Members and Guests own risk, and subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant venue supplier and/or food and beverage supplier of the Event as well as these Terms. By attending any Event participating Members and Guests agree to be bound by the relevant venue supplier's and/or food and beverage supplier's terms and conditions for that Event, and it is their responsibility to familiarize themselves with these and to ensure that they follow such terms and conditions. All Health & Safety compliance at the Event is the responsibility of the venue supplier and/or food and beverage supplier of that Event.

For food related Events it is the Members and Guests full responsibility to inform the event venue's staff and/or the servicing company of any special dietary requirements that may exist, e.g., food allergies, prior to attending the Event and or any contact or consumption.  

Unless otherwise stated on the Event page on the Website, it is the Members and Guests responsibility to arrange for travel to any Event.

Changes

We reserve the sole right to modify or replace any part of this Agreement. It is the Users/Members/Guests responsibility to check this Agreement whenever accessing the Website. Continued use of or access to the Website following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes. In the future we may offer new services and/or features through the Website, and at the events. These new features and/or services shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement.

From time to time NYC INVITES may run competitions and promotions via its Website and/or at its events. Where applicable, separate terms and conditions will be listed, which will govern such competitions and promotions.             

Definitions

"Website" means NYC INVITES website, www.nycinvites.com.

"Event" means any event organized by NYC INVITES.

"Guest" means a person who is a guest of a Member, guest of our official event partner, or an official registered event attendee.

"Member" means any person who has correctly completed NYC INVITES registration form on its Website, and has confirmed his/her Subscription.

"Subscription" means any person who has complete the Membership application on the Website, and who has confirmed via responding and clicking on the link embedded in the email confirmation, using the email address provided by the User.

"User" means any user of the Website, including but not limited to Members.
